Solar Eclipse

Oh April, how will you support thee?

Oh What a month!  April what do you have in store for us?!? Freedom, sovereignty, self-sufficiency, independence, pioneer, courage, adventure – these are some of the descriptions of the energy of Aries.  We moved into Aries on March 21st  and it will be in it till April 19th.  This is the first sign of the Zodiac – so here we are at a beginning point, the start of a new cycle.  This also coincides with the official start of spring on March 22nd this year. The vernal equinox brings the energy of new beginnings, rebirth, renewal, budding. And last but absolutely not least we have a total Solar Eclipse on April 8th  with our New Moon/Super Moon in Aries.  Wow – what else can we say here?

Ok – let's break this down – there is a lot going on this month and it is a pivotal month in terms of what you want to set intentions for, to bring creation and renewal to. Eclipses are like wild cards astrologically; we don’t really know what we are going to get.  And with that, there is equally the opportunity of being able to put our creation into making it what we want. The energy around this solar eclipse is an opening to make big jumps in consciousness, and timelines.  It is said that the changes that come with total eclipses tend to be permanent changes. Now because of the wild card aspect – these things can come out of the blue. They can be very unexpected shifts that take place that we were not tracking in a linear fashion. This can propel us forward on our paths, and if we have strayed a bit from our destiny or our divine soul plan, the energy can jump us back into alignment. 

What we set into motion here at this time will be in play for the next 6 months for sure and up to the end of this year. This is not one of those situations where the energy is potent for a new or full moon lunar cycle. This will carry forth for quite a spell of time. We want to start dreaming in what is possible for ourselves and the collective, to contribute to the creation of the New.  New beginnings, right?  This is the energy we are in. And we have also been in a long-haul energy dynamic of the old breaking down – so what is it we want to see? What is the new way, system/s, collective, cooperative mindsets that get to be put into motion? We may not even have an answer to this that does not pull from what we have known. So, this is where we get to wake up our inner Shaman and start tracking or seeing what is possible in the highest good for all. All being humanity, the earth, the animals, the waters, the plant life, the air, truly for all that is and resides on this planet. 

The Shaman knows how to navigate the spirit realms on behalf of themselves and other. We know how to track into the infinite realm of possibility and begin to activate the energy and attract it to us, creating form from the formless. And this starts with the ability to feel and connect with the quality of that which we want to bring into manifested form. We become peace, cooperation, respect, love, sovereign, freedom, if that is what we want to see and experience. We don’t hope for it or pray for it – we become it.  Feel that which you want to see and let yourself embody the frequency of it. Then you move through the world, and you begin to attract that very thing to you. This is Law of Attraction guys – becoming that which you want to see – not magazine cut outs on canvas. That can be helpful to get you into the feeling – but it is feeling and becoming the energy that creates it.

Aries is also associated with the root chakra – embodiment, grounding, connection, tribe, safety, belonging and the right to be here. It is a very direct, blunt, and outspoken energy.  And in this time of truth coming forward, seeking independence and freedom, we may see some turbulent waters ahead. Aries is also ruled by Mars – the warrior. Mars is very action oriented. It is a fiery energy that moves outward. Now, this can be a positive quality when we need to get things done, but in its shadow expression it can cause a lot of chaos and destruction. In the Shamanic Path we talk about holding our power and using our power from the place of the Luminous Warrior – the one with no enemies in this lifetime or the next. We marry our power with harmony, grace, artistry and devotion to the highest good. 

So, my dear ones, as we navigate this loaded, jam packed month of April, whose energy will impact and follow us for next 6 months to a year, let us take a moment and find a place of stillness and clarity as we prepare for what lies ahead with our Solar Eclipse-super moon on April 8th. Develop a practice that supports stillness and calm, that helps to center you in your own I AM, your own spirit essence.

Channel your inner Luminous Warrior, practice your clear shaman seeing state, track into the realms of infinite possibility and become that which you wish to see. As we continue to move through the breakdown of the old, we want to put into motion the creation of the place we are going. The time is potent for continuing to dream in the New Earth – which is already very much in existence, but not fully actualized quite yet. 

Aries, spring, solar eclipse – they all hold the energy of New Beginnings – let's ride the wave.
